Since the 2005-2008 freeze was lifted, tuition fees have risen 34% and Saskatchewan students now pay some of the highest tuition fees in Canada. Despite skyrocketing tuition fees and mounting student debt, students in Saskatchewan continue to face unregulated tuition fee increases every year.
Take Action and Demand Change! Students across Canada are mobilizing for the November 2 Student Day of Action for a universal, just, public system of postsecodnary education in Canada.
We have three demands:
1. Reduction and elimination of tuition fees for all
2. Increased funding to postsecondary education in Saskatchewan
3. Provincial grants program for Indigenous students
Get involved, be a part of the Student movement!
